MGM College of Engineering & Technology has an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) In tune with
the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) directives to maintain and enhance quality
consciousness in Higher Education Institutions.
The primary role of IQAC is to organize and streamline the Institution’s efforts towards achieving
academic excellence. It is dedicated to ensuring that all activities within the Institution are directed
towards maintaining and improving quality standards.
The objectives:
Develop a Quality System :
The IQAC aims to create a structured approach to enhancing academic and
administrative performance. This involves implementing consistent, conscious, and catalytic
programmed actions. By focusing on continuous improvement, the IQAC ensures that the institution
remains at the forefront of educational excellence.
Promote Quality Enhancement:
One of the key objectives is to instill a culture of quality within the
institution. This means internalizing quality values and standards among all stakeholders, including
faculty, staff, and students.
Additionally, the IQAC works on institutionalizing best practices, ensuring that effective and efficient
methodologies become a part of the institution’s routine operations. This includes regular
assessments, feedback mechanisms, and the adoption of innovative practices that lead to overall
quality enhancement.
